Emergency Department at Queen's Hospital Burton
The emergency department at Queen's Hospital Burton provides a 24 hour emergency service to adults and children, treating on average 200 patients each day.
We have onsite out-of-hours clincicians with bookable appointment slots, and state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- a recent £1.1million Minor Injuries Department refurbishment
- resuscitation room with 3 bays
- majors cubicles x 12
- pit stop
- plaster room
- streaming rooms x 2
- paediatric minor injury / illness bay
