COVID-19 and Research Trials

From Monday 16 March 2020, recruitment of patients to all studies, other than those studies relating to COVID-19, will cease. This is to allow our clinical colleagues to focus their care where it is most needed. We are reviewing the trials we have open and are in contact with sponsors. The safety of our patients it always our priority.

Welcome to Research

Cá độ bóng đáAs a university Trust we believe research is key to the exceptional care provided at UHDB. Our aim is to offer every patient the opportunity to take part in research; in developing new medicines, devices and treatments.

We host research funded by external organisations including the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) and the life sciences industry. Conducting research studies helps the Trust realise its vision to be a beacon of the NHS, delivering 21stCá độ bóng đá century healthcare.

As well as collaborating on externally led research we support home grown studies and sponsor high quality research of clear value to the NHS. From new investigators with their first ideas to multi centre randomised controlled trials, we can work with you to design, set-up and deliver your research.
